Давненько не обновляли сыч. Еще одно суперстабильное, могли-бы какую-то интересную фишку добавить, что-ли:

Добавили памяти до 8 гигов, разогнали и запустили Зельду в 4K, с тормозами конечно, но сам факт )) Но в других игорях норм так буст.

2 апреля 2024 года японская компания подала на регистрацию патент, в котором показана улучшенная версия текущей модели док-станции. Новый док оснащен вращающейся панелью в центре, где находятся порты HDMI и USB, необходимые для подключения всех кабелей от консоли к телевизору и блоку питания.

Удобно, но непонятно для какого сыча, этого или уже второго.

Fixed an issue where some wireless access points cannot be found when setting up a new wireless network.
If you’re unable to update to Version 18.0.1 because of the issue, temporarily change the security settings for your wireless network to use only “WPA2 (AES)” so you can connect wirelessly to download and install the system update.
After updating to Version 18.0.1, restore your network’s security settings to its previous settings.

Перевели тут утечки с японского по сычу 2:

The Bluetooth chip of Switch 2 still supports existing Joy-Con and Pro controllers, and still features HD vibration (ALPS dual-axis linear motor).

Switch 2 has backwards compatibility with Switch 1 cartridges, but Switch 2 cartridges will be different and won’t fit on a Switch 1.

The new Joy-Con are larger and are magnetically attached to the console with an electromagnet. The SL and SR buttons are metallic now, and there’s a new button behind each Joy-Con (location where the button is) and a new button below the home button on the right Joy-Con (location where the button is)

The dock still has an USB-C port and will also support 4K image output.

The new kickstand also has a damping bracket on the back for improved angle adjustment.

The screen is bigger, up to 8 inches and the resolution is upgraded to 1080p.

Президент Nintendo пока называет Switch 2 "следующей моделью":

During a financial call, Furukawa was asked if the new console is brand new or something else. He responded by saying that “Switch next model is the appropriate way to describe it”.

Пока не раскрывает название.

Анонс "новой модели" произойдет в этом фискальном году (до 01/04/2025). Анонс, не выход. С первым свитчом прошло полгода до релиза консоли.

“This is Furukawa, President of Nintendo. We will make an announcement about the successor to Nintendo Switch within this fiscal year. It will have been over nine years since we announced the existence of Nintendo Switch back in March 2015. We will be holding a Nintendo Direct this June regarding the Nintendo Switch software lineup for the latter half of 2024, but please be aware that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation.”

В июне пройдет директ, где покажут игры, которые выйдут до конца 2024 года на этот свитч. Надеюсь на Прайм 4 и Силксонг.

* = Not only is the Switch 2 ARM-based rather than x86 like the systems compared, it's also Nvidia vs. AMD. There are plenty of factors at play to where it's not an apples-to-apples comparison. Plus the native Tensor cores of the Switch 2 will allow for DLSS, letting the system punch above its weight & decrease the size of the gap between it & the XSS. Nintendo could throttle down the SoC to the floor, but I'm not sure it'll be a doomsday scenario since this is a custom chip to begin with.

Nintendo Switch Online will be available on the successor to Nintendo Switch as well. Новости от Nate the Hate (на 100% правдивого ликера, предсказал всё!)
Сыч 2 покажут в период от второй половины января до начала февраля. Релиз консоли может быть в мае или июне 2025 года.
Также будет порт Kirby: Planet Robobot на сыч.

nToday’s speculation comes from the Nate the Hate podcast. NateDrake, who’s name has been out there before with Nintendo rumors and the industry as a whole, held discussion pointing to a possible Nintendo Switch 2 reveal between the second half of January and early February. Given that an announcement is expected by the end of the fiscal year ending March 2025, that’s not too surprising. Nintendo’s next financial results briefing is also planned for February 4.

NateDrake goes on to say that he’s heard an event will be held for Nintendo Switch 2 in May. The console itself is apparently targeting a late May to June release, based on industry chatter.

That’s not the only rumor we have here. For the current Nintendo Switch, we’re apparently getting a Kirby: Planet Robobot port in 2025. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, another game that was originally on Nintendo 3DS, received the same treatment a few months ago. It’s unclear if Planet Robobot would be a fairly straightforward port in HD, or if extra content would be brought to the table.
