Например, ZFS. Не говоря уж о многих фс, проявляющих свои плюсы при определёных задачах, типа NSS или райсера.
Причём здесь "обсирать"? Я просто говорю, что на НТФС свет клином не сошёлся абсолютно. Я, например, берусь утверждать, что процентах так на 95 серверов никакой НТФС и не пахнет, и ничего - всё отлично работает.

А что вы тут все разругались из-га 4 гигабайт? Они же не ISO-образ запускают размером 20 гигабайт. Просто все файлы игры с диска скидывают в папку HDD или USB-HDD и настраивают запуск из нее. Вряд ли есть файлы больше 4 гектар на диске.

После того как чуть выше выложили скрин с файлом размером 25Гб на винте в плойки - верить этому диалогу нет никакого желания.
Для начала надо еще выложить скрин о том где это файло лежит. (Мож оно с блюрэя или не из гейм партишена)
Если даже лежит оно в основном партишене, то откуда туда попало?
Не исключено что хмб умет отображать одно имя для склеенных кусков
по 4 гига каждый (к примеру) Поверить тому что это файло одно и действительно реально весит 21 гиг можно только после подмонтирования пс-ного диска к компу и просмотром его содержимого, а этого-то как раз сделать и нельзя по причине вышеозначенного энкрипшена. Однако есть несколько достоверных подтверждений тому, что файловая система там действительно фат32. Много раз обсуждалось к примеру на ps3-hacks.

Hackers have reportedly found a way to run retail PS3 games through a hard drive and are now hoping to mess around with game data in order to find a flow in how a game handles included files.

никак не пойму, почему пс3ньюзовское приспособление для запуска образов до сих пор не опубликовано...
вроде как сказано было, что чтобы игра запустилась, это должна быть developmental copy, но ведь как мы знаем, eboot.bin был недавно расшифрован, так что же тогда стоит просто напросто отредактировать его, сделав таким образом из ретаил девелопмент версию?

Там трёп идет постоянно о киоск и демо плэйстэйшнах (для демок в магазах и т. д.) Эти консоли принадлежат самой сони и если их и стырили, то вобщем это ничего не меняет. Даже опубликованы пароли для этих моделей в соответствии с версиями прошивок, но прошивки там другие и вообще ни к чему об них даже упоминать. К тому же поколоть их еще сложнее чем ретэйловые ибо там половины кода и вовсе нет. А вообще-то
если вспомнить немного о технике, то селл процессор разработан с Trusted Computing Module изначально и "The OS-dedicated SPE that does the cryptography operations is sealed off from the rest of the system." Даже паблик ключи из него наружу не вытаскиваются. Плюс пресловутый гипервизор и .т.д. радости не добавляет. Боюсь что еще не скоро мы узнаем пправду ( если вообще когда-нибудь)

Кстати человек со скриншотом на файло в 21 гиг пропал куда-то и скриншот тоже пропал. Посему вопрос - а откуда такого размера файл попал на приставку? Из флэшки не мог (там точно фат32 да и врядли у кого есть 32 гиговая флэшка), с ДВД не мог - не хватит емкости. С инета - врядли - это ж его скока тащить надо, да и не выкладывает никто файло такого размера в нэт пока. С блю-рэйной болванки? Так резаков еще почти нет ни у кого. С виндовой шары? Тоже наврядли - откуда такой файл вообще мог там появиться?

Он вроде писал, что с блю-рэй диска. Скопировал средстванми пс3.

пишущие блю рей сидюки уже давно в продаже, у меня друг недавно купил (да стоит он дофига) =) ну корочь париться из-за фаила в 21 гиг не стоит, точнее как его закинуть на зы3 (да и есть ЮСБ винты), на торрентсе давно уже люди образы игр от зы3 выложили, вот только лоадера нету =( и их соответственно никто не качает =) !
п.с. А поддерживает ли файловая система зы3 большие фаилы чесно хз, у всех разные версии.=)
