И текстовая выжимка из презентации:
. Yu Suzuki has about 20 people outside of the studio playing the game for feedback purposes, and each are finding their own approaches to move forward through the game even when faced with the same tasks and challenges. Yu feels like it's a proof of concept of his vision for open world gameplay.

. Yu's approach to creation is not "real", but "reality", which is that he allows himself creative liberties for impact without sacrificing a recognisable sense of place and being. In Shenmue this has meant creating locations that are familiar, but not strictly analogous, to their real life counterparts. Shenmue's Dobuita is not exactly like the real Dobuita, nor is Shenmue II's Hong Kong exactly like the real Hong Kong, but they carry enough landmarks and essence of these places to have inspired fans to go on pilgrimages to them in real life.

Shenmue III will be no different. The second major area of the game is an ancient port town called Niaowu, which is based on Fenghuang in the Hunan province of China. Niaowu's distinct mix of traditional and ramshackle architecture greatly reflects Fenghuang's own, but as with other locations in the series, liberties have been taken. Yu gave two examples; the first is that Shenmue III's Niaowu is within the Guilin region, which Fenghuang is not, and to reflect this the green and mossy mountains of Guilin now sit on Niaowu's backdrop. The second are the stalls on the waterfront, which are more characteristic of Japan than China, but help build the image of a port town with a heavy emphasis on tourism and commerce.

That said, some aspects Yu is adamant about being faithful to real life for creating a sense of place. An example given is using Chinese instruments in the soundtrack.

. Yu really respects the team, so when showing the game design document (GDD) to staff, he recognised they had strengths and weaknesses as developers, so decided to change elements of the GDD to suit the staff's strengths.

A specific area of this change was within the art team. Some 3D artists were better at creating realistic designs, and others at more exaggerated and stylised models, so Yu allowed them to make characters in the ways that played to their strengths; then tweaked them to fit a closer unified vision.

. As Shenmue II was different from the original Shenmue, so will Shenmue III be different from the previous game. One of Yu's biggest desires for Shenmue III was to fulfill something he was unable to do with the originals - which was tying the individual game elements closer together in harmonious balance to make a more connected game.

One of the ways Yu has done this is with Ryo's money and the cyclical nature of the in-game economy. Ryo can work part time jobs to earn money, he can then gamble or play mini-games in exchange for tokens and prizes.

In Japan there is "good" gambling, and "bad" gambling. In order to sell the game in China (which strictly censors games), Shenmue III features a similar system of "good" gambling not unlike how pachinko parlours work. Ryo cannot profit monetarily directly from gambling, but he can sell his prizes at pawn shops for more cash.

However, this isn't the end of the cycle. A core system in Shenmue III is developing Ryo's skills in combat through training, sparring, and learning new moves and techniques. Ryo can learn these new techniques through skill books that can be gained as prizes, bought with money, exchanged for other items at the pawn shop, gained through the main story and side quests, & more.

It's in the player's best interests to get involved in this economic cycle to build Ryo's martial arts prowess up to take on tough opponents, and as we learned from the EDGE preview - also counter more exotic forms of martial arts. This also feeds into the street fights Ryo can partake in for money and prizes.

Not all places where you can exchange tokens are equal either. Different locations will have different items and different rates of exchange, so it's worth exploring and learning about the individual premium exchanges.

. As we had already learned, Shenmue III has four difficulty settings. These are inspired by Yu Suzuki's arcade roots where machine difficulty could be set by dip switches. The difficult levels are "Easy", "Recommended" (normal), "Master", and "Don't Play This!/Don't Do This!".

Also - as detailed at MAGIC, there will be two methods of control for Ryo in combat; Manual and Automatic Transmission modes. Manual Transmission is direct control over inputs much like the previous games, while Automatic Transmission is a system where players can stack five moves that can be switched between, and activated through a single button press. This is not unlike being able to set a move to the L or R triggers in the original games.

This is to make Shenmue III accessible to a wide range of gamers.

. There will be a digest movie recapping the events of the previous Shenmue games for players who haven't tried the series before, but Yu Suzuki recommends you pick up the Shenmue I & II re-release to fully understand the game's story and context.

. Yu's focus for mini-games in Shenmue III were mechanical and carnival-style games, rather than video games (though they are still present). The reason for this is because he felt mechanical games fit the game's setting and era better, wanting to portray a simpler time and place than Japan or Hong Kong in 1987.

. The forklift returns in Shenmue III. Although it'll move slower than its counterpart in the original Shenmue, there is apparently extra functionality they're keeping as a surprise for people. Much like other elements of the game, there will be ways the forklift connects into the core gameplay loop.

. In closing, Yu Suzuki thanks fans for their patience, and is looking to get the game into their hands as soon as possible.

Где еще увидеть игру, как не в волмарте:

На бокс это тоже выйдет,скорей всего как три в одном,все три части в одном издание

No

У Эпика экз

Знатное предательство.
