IGN оценил Dead Island. И внезапно, в целых 8 баллов. Назвав при этом игру - "Fallout with zombies" 20-30 часов игры, "rough but cool RPG", "huge world to explore, thousands of zombies to kill, and tons of side quests". Изъянов правда тоже хватает.

Первая оценка Resistance 3 от OPM Portugal - 9/10

PROS:
-Excelent graphics and attention to detail;
-More compact and pleasing combat;
-The plot twists;
-Superior Co-operative and competitive modes. (compared to R2 maybe?)

CONS:
-Some unanswered questions without any reason;
-Predictable last chapter;
-Adds little new things to the series.

If you're looking to have an enjoyable arcade experience with friends, you won't be disappointed with Crimson Alliance, especially since it supports any combination of online and couch co-op. The basics of the classic genre it's trying to evoke are there. The flaws in the combat design and how the characters combine their powers is only apparent, ironically enough, because of the newer mechanic of the game's combat multiplier: It actually helped highlight how not to play the game

Good variety of weapons Creepy atmosphere.

At times ludicrous, but usually boring and insipid, this story fails to be scary.

Stiff character models. Atmosphereic, but uninspired castle locales. Some nice gore effects.

It's impossible to be scared when the most annoying French girl ever is swearing at you.
4.0 Gameplay
Unique and interesting a first, the game suffers from unbalanced controls, and repetitive and simple gameplay.
6.5 Lasting Appeal
Pretty short game, though will take longer due to the need for constant breaks from fatigue.

Shadow of the Colossus, in particular, runs more smoothly than the original.

Я очень надеялся на 60FPS, тогда бы игралось просто идеально. Я думаю если бы было 60, они бы обязательно на этом внимание заострили. А Bluepoint Games становится у Сони штатными конвертерами.

High-def and retro graphics, online multiplayer, and a handful of different game modes.
8.0 Graphics
The high-def visuals are slick, but there is no mistaking that this is a 1998 SEGA Saturn game. Still, it's easy on the eyes.
9.0 Sound
The fantastic, epic soundtrack will stay with you long after you turn your Xbox off.
9.0 Gameplay
Play it like a manic shooter or a puzzle game. Radiant Silvergun is very clever, offering more than your standard retro shooter.
9.0 Lasting Appeal
Since you're constantly upgrading your ship, you'll find yourself playing for much longer than you might normally play an arcade shooter.
9.0 OVERALL Amazing
