Armored Core 4

What to Expect: No longer published by Agetec, FromSoftware's sturdy mech series heads into the next generation under SEGA's banner with a number of notable improvements (besides the obvious graphical boost). A new storyline, original environments, and eight-player simultaneous online battles are among the touted features, as is the inclusion of "Primal Armor" -- a new-fangled defensive shield that adjusts its power according to specific combat situations. As was the case with the rest of the games in the franchise, expect plenty of adjustable machines, more than 30 missions and six different playable factions when Armored Core 4 ships in the first quarter of 2007.




Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War

What to Expect: KOEI leaves the ancient battlefields of Japan and China and heads for 14th century Europe instead in Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War. Retelling the story of a century-long struggle for the French throne, this original RTS features a fictional plot based on actual events starring such historical characters as Joan of Arc and "The Black Prince" Prince Edward. Built from the ground up, the game allows users to take control of French and English forces as they command hundreds of archers, infantry, cavaliers, and other military units at once (while also giving them the option to swap sides on a battle-to-battle basis). Expect a character reputation system and unit augmentation too.

What to Expect: What happens when you mix hip-hop music culture with hand-to-hand fighting mechanics? Def Jam: Icon does, apparently. Developed by the Fight Night crew at EA Chicago, the game's focus is to move beyond the more established digital fighting methods, and towards unfamiliar territory... music-based combat. Featuring interactive backgrounds that react to whatever music is playing (thanks to a built-in equalizer), the game challenges players to "fight to the beat" with celebrities such as Ludacris and Big Boi while defeating their opponents by learning the rhythms of their favorite songs. An analog-based battle system, the option to hot-swap songs in the middle of a skirmish, and support for customized soundtracks have also been confirmed.




The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

What to Expect: One of the biggest, most ambitious role-playing games of the year comes to the PlayStation 3 with full 1080p HD support and the all-new sidequest, "Knights of the Nine." But even without this PS3-exclusive content, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion would still be an engaging experience. Following the aftermath of the assassination of Cyrodill's beloved king, Bethesda's original storyline is one of betrayal, heroism and selflessness as Oblivion's players embark on a quest of uncountable gameplay hours packed with fully customizable characters, an advanced NPC AI system, and more side-missions than you can shake a steel sword +2 at. Cancel all your appointments before taking this one on.

What to Expect: It's the 23rd century and racing in alien environments is what life is all about. At least, that's what it's all about in Fatal Inertia -- KOEI's action-based speedster from its upstart development studio in Canada. Mixing traditional race goals with combat and an emphasis on physics, the finished game will boast a large variety of weaponry, completely customizable vehicles, and competitive, cooperative, and season-themed game modes. You can even hop online and battle experience the game with pals over the Network.




Formula One Championship Edition

What to Expect: Formula racing is one of the most technical and perfection-inducing sports in the world, and Formula One Championship Edition aims to bring this intensity to PlayStation 3 gamers everywhere. The game sure is pretty with sharp-as-nails visuals and a lightning-quick framerate which works perfectly with its white knuckle racing. The Career mode looks to be fairly expansive and numerous racing teams and tracks will provide plenty of customization. And speaking of customization, Sony is making sure that the difficulty is adaptable to any amount of racing experience, allowing newcomers to enjoy it just as much as veterans.




MotorStorm

What to Expect: Here's a game worthy of serious attention. MotorStorm looks to be the premiere race title on PS3 when it debuts in February, and it wouldn't surprise too many people if it stayed on top for a good long while. The game looks amazing, for starters, but it also offers a unique twist on the racing games. Players will take control of dirt bikes, trucks and ATVs as they rip through hazardous courses filled with jumps and a myriad of obstacles. What's more, players need to watch out for heat -- boost too much and a vehicle will explode into a thousand pieces.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas

Making the experience even more realistic is the all-new motion-captured animation engine and multiple invasion tactics, while the online multiplayer experience continues its role as one of the best and most immersive around. Players can even build and evolve their online persona -- getting better while unlocking new weapons as they go along, or use the Sixaxis controller to control their sneaky "Snake-cam."

What to Expect: SEGA's Lindbergh arcade system is one of the most impressive coin-op boards around and its flagship title, Virtua Fighter 5, really pushes the hardware. Luckily, PlayStation 3 owners should be getting the exact same experience when the slick-looking brawler hits home sometime next year. Boasting 17 combatants in all, VF5 has two brand new fighters (luche libre wrestler El Blaze and Monkey Kung Fu expert Eileen) as, well as old favorites Jacky, Sarah, Pai, and Akira. Various customizable options such as multiple costumes and attachable items are also included.

Virtua Tennis 3

What to Expect: The Virtua Tennis series has always attracted gamers, sports-fan or otherwise. And from what IGN has seen so far, Virtua Tennis 3 looks to be no different. It includes a slew of game modes, including the comprehensive Career Mode. Plus, this new iteration will boast improved character animation and AI for realistic matches. The game will also include a host of mini-games that help a player fine-tune their technique. This includes all the challenges form the previous game, but also a set of brand new ones. Expect to serve while aiming for a selection of "fruity" targets.

Ну, что сказать, игрушки -класс!
Для меня особенно: Virtua Fighter 5, Def Jam: Icon, Formula -1 Championship Edition и MotorStorm.

 

Тока одно не пойму, при европейском старте у нас ктонить собраеться продавать приставке оффициально ? (вернее, у нас тоже будет осушествлён европейский старт)... или опять же тупо барыги будут тянуть приставки из-за бугра как с японии и америки ?
Если это так, то смысл тогда ждать, если приставку уже и так можно купить меньше 30-ка...

 

Вроде говорили, что в России старт будет и будут даже особенные цены, вот только по-моему вопрос о том будет ли он у нас одновременно с европейским остается открытым.

 

И в какую сторону цены будут особенными. Делаем ставки. Ставлю на 550/650 евро минимум и наличие в продаже только одной версии, скорее всего за 550. Не раньше, чем через 2-3 недели после старта в Европе.

 

Ох, как бы не получилось 2-3 месяца...А так, если 2-3 недели, это было бы очень здорово.
Уверен, что если поставки будут оффициальными, то в продаже будут обе версии и 20ГБ и 60ГБ.

 

Тут наверно будут смотреть сколько консолей смогут к этому времени сделать. Если все будет нормально - можно и у нас старт пустить, а вот если будет не хватать, чую забьют на нас и отдадут все консоли европейцам. А по поводу цены тоже вопрос. С одной стороны ранее Sony при запуске PS2 нас вроде не кидала, а с другой стороны - кто его знает...

 

Судя по нынешней ситуации - можно уже через месяц старт делать.
Кстати, я так-же уверен в том, что продажи на страте в Европе будут очень низкими.

 

Надеюсь, что Софтклаб постарается и сделает старт PS3 событием для вех Российских геймеров. Если проводить аналогию со стартом PSP, то у PS3 есть все шансы появиться на прилавках действительно через 2-3 недели после Европейского лонча. А вот сколько она будет стоить покажет время. Думаю, что даже в Европе цены на приставки в разных странах будут отличаться…

 

К Российскому старту подготовились уже, можно сказать, изначально, введя русский язык. Уверен что большой задержки не будет. Но и одновременного старта день-в-день тоже не будет.
Ставлю от двух дней до двух недель на выход в России после евро старта.

 

Например загнав цену до штуки евро, сославшись на налоги, пошлины, рекламы и т.д.? Да... событие запоминающееся получится.

 

Насчет стартовой линейки, приведенной gera, могу сказать, что радоваться особенно нечему…
1) Armored Core 4 (Мультиплатформа, можно будет вполне поиграть на Xbox360)
2) The Hundred Years' War (a) Непонятная династивориозобразная поделка от KOEI б) Опять же Мультиплатформа)
3) Def Jam: Icon (Мультплатформа)
4) The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (без комментариев, хотя можно взглянуть из-за улучшенной графики и дополнений)
5) Fatal Inertia (Мультиплатформа, версию для PS3 может сделать особенно привлекательной лишь качественная поддержка гироскопов)
6) Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas (мультиплатформа, у sixasix нет вибрации)
7) Virtua Fighter 5 (Мультиплатформа)
8) Virtua Tennis 3 (Мультиплатформа) (обещанное разрешение 1080p смогут оценить единицы )
Остаются Formula One Championship Edition и MotorStorm. Но и то для любителей гонок. Особенным фанатом рейсингов нет смысла ждать выхода Европейских версий (в обе игры можно поиграть прямо сейчас), и их американские версии появятся раньше (с он-лайном в Motorstorme)

Почему нельзя радоваться мультиплатформе? Не у всех есть дома Х360 (а у кого есть не факт, что он доживёт до весны ) и не у всех есть хороший комп, который легко тянет эти игры. Не радоваться остаётся главным образом не тому, что мультиплатформа, а тому, что игры на лицензии только. Хотя... до весны ещё долеко, всякое может случиться.

Дешёвых версий на ланче в Ирландии не обещают я ненамного дороже уже сейчас могу яповскую версию у барыг взять

 

Вроде почти официально говорили что будет только 60гб версия, для всей Европы.

Такими же "низкими" как в Японии и Америке

 

Мда, забавно будет если для европы цены будут в районе 620-650 евро, а у нас спеццены - 599,99 евро.

 

Да нет, я как раз радуюсь мультиплатформам. Любое новое сообщение о состоявшихся и возможных неудачах Sony я всегда воспринимаю с радостью и энтузиазмом (как уже несколько раз говорил, я очень не люблю Sony как бренд и просто вынужден играть на PS3, чтобы быть в курсе того, что твориться в индустрии). Всегда приятно читать, что Sony в очередной раз лишилась заявленных ранее эксклюзивов. Процитированную мной линейку можно назвать нерадостной в свете предстоящего Европейского лонча, так как рядовой геймер, запланировавший покупку Next-gen консоли и откладывающий ее до старта PS3 может объективно взглянуть на этот список, потом на сообщения о возможной цене на PS3 и пойти в ближайший магазин за Xbox360. Большинство Европейцев народ рациональный и они не станут покупать заведомо дорогой аппарат, если в продаже есть «модель подешевле», правда от другого производителя но на которой можно поиграть в большинство понравившихся игр. Да и собственно ждать ничего не надо. Xbox 360 уже прекрасно существует больше года, на нем уже есть линейка проектов (в том числе эксклюзивных), способных заинтересовать геймеров и плюс к этому ближайшая перспектива увидеть 80% игр, заявленных на PS3. А по мнению даже игровых критиков, большинство вышедших мультиплатформ на боксе выглядят лучше, чем на PS3. Да и цена на них меньше (плюс можно купить игрушку б/у). Ну а если мы заговорим про пиратку…. Тут, я думаю, и так все ясно – зачем ждать когда сломают Sony, если можно уже сейчас поиграть в тех же COD3, Oblivion и т.д за 100 р? (хотя пиратка это не аргумент). Не буду продолжать Versus, просто твое сообщение навеяло… Я уважаю чувства фанатов Sony, но в тоже время мне очень трудно оставаться равнодушным нейтралом и не высказывать своего мнения

Мечты мечты чё 360й в Европе не хватают наверно всёж мультплатформа на Пс3 вкуснее

Меня вот европейца 360му особо нечем привлечь и у многих европейцев есть современный ПК поэтому библиотеке 360го тут нечего предложить врятли кто то побежит в магазин из за пары эсклюзивов а в тонну ПК портов поиграют на ПК
