О "физике" в игре (в зависимости от выбранного "стиля" вашего уровня в редакторе):
Super Mario Bros
- Jumping, running, and turning around feel the most "stiff" in this version. Just like the original. Turning in the air or the ground feels like a chore.
- Even so, the clunky physics might've been toned down just a little bit? Needs confirmation. Regardless, it definitely still has the most restricted movement physics for sure.
- Unlike the original, getting hit while powered-up will revert Mario back to his Super Mushroom status before his Small Mario status.
- Also unlike the original, you can bounce higher off of enemies by holding the jump button.
- And again, unlike the original, the screen isn't locked to prevent you from going left. Which you can now do freely.
- However, like the original, you cannot hold Koopa Shells or other objects.
- Has exclusive 8-Bit Amiibo costumes, which can have slight gameplay differences (?).

Super Mario Bros 3
- Has smoother physics than SMB1, but still more restrictive in comparison to SMW or NSMB. This includes running, jumping, and turning. In particular, turning on the ground is still pretty stiff, but turning in the air is much better. Air turning is better than NSMB surprisingly.
- You can pick up and hold Koopa Shells.
- For clarity's sake, getting hit while powered-up will revert you to Super Mushroom status. The reason why I mention this is because, in the Japanese version of SMB3, getting hit reduces you to Small Mario...I believe.
- Because slopes were added, you can slide down them.

Super Mario World
- Even smoother physics than SMB3. In fact, it is probably the smoothest in terms of running/jumping/turning physics. More-so than NSMB. Turning both on the ground and in the air is almost seemless.
- Spin Jump is added, whick allows you to break tiles/bricks beneath you...if you're not Small Mario.
- Not only can you pick up and throw Koopa Shells, you can throw them up or drop them too. To do this, hold up or down respectively before letting go of the run button whilist holding a Koopa Shell. This is the only game version in which you can do this trick. This also applies to any item that you can hold.
- You can crouch as Small Mario, which you cannot do in previous games. Mostly pointless unless you are holding a shell/item, though.
- You can slide down slopes.
- Additionally, if they are in, Mario can run up walls using the pink triangle...things? You know what I mean. (Yoshi can't however)

New Super Mario Bros
- Has the most techniques out of the games, even though its physics are more stiff than SMW. Has better ground turning than SMB3, but worse air turning than SMB3.
- You can Spin Jump. Additionally, you can spin in the air to slow your fall.
- You can triple jump. Do take note that you can't throw fireballs during the 3rd jump.
- You can ground pound to break bricks below you. Additionally, you can cancel a ground pound by tapping up while falling.
- You can pick up Koopa Shells, but you can't drop them or throw them straight up like in SMW.
- You can wall jump. Making this the best game version for vertical stages.
- You can slide down slopes.
- Small Mario can crouch, though this is almost completely useless now with the changed shell mechanics.
- When doing a crouch jump, Mario now exits the crouching animation after the apex of his jump. He doesn't do this in SMB1 or SMB3, making crouch jumping in this game different (Not sure about SMW...). If you don't want to exit the crouch, you have to keep holding down.

Exclusive: MercurySteam Has Been Working On A Metroid Prototype For Wii U And 3DS
One enduring rumour that has quietly been circulating in the Spanish games industry is that MercurySteam, the studio behind Konami's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series, has been pitching a new entry in the Metroid series to Nintendo. After extensive digging and coordinating with contacts related to the project, we can now confirm this to be the case.
In late May, Nintendo Life learned the company began an effort to expand its staff for the game. As work on its proposal for a new Metroid game was under-way, MercurySteam was hoping to bring in a number of talented new developers hand-picked from other Spanish studios. Hiring calls were posted too as the search widened.
We have ascertained that work on a prototype for this unsolicited pitch was established earlier in the year, and had a full game been green-lit, it was planned to be developed for both Wii U and 3DS. It was being referred to internally as simply 'Metroid', and it has been described as a first person game set in a post apocalyptic sci-fi environment. In their demo, Samus was the main character - as you would expect - but was joined by seven other playable bounty hunters, as well. This is a similar set-up to that seen in the DS game, Metroid Prime: Hunters.

MercurySteam, perhaps somewhat naively, disclosed to those attending interviews the nature of its new project, which is believed to be the initial cause of it starting to leak out. The outcome of the pitch is uncertain, but currently isn't looking good for any hopeful Metroid fans. Rumour has it that it was turned down by Nintendo. Updates from the developers and associated contacts dried up recently, followed by a small series of departures from the company.
Shortly thereafter, an update to MercurySteam's website teasing their next game arrived, further adding to the conundrum. It portrays a man in what appears to be the cockpit of a spaceship, smoking a cigar. The accompanying text reads:
Exploring new worlds
Fighting strange new creatures
Discovering new heroes
Expect news soon
Considering the similarities these brief details bear to the aforementioned Metroid pitch, it is a possibility that these two projects share a connection. Earlier in the year, we were made aware that the developers held a contingency plan of remodelling the game into an original IP, in the event of the proposal being rejected. Whether or not this is now the case remains to be seen.
We reached out to MercurySteam, who were unavailable for comment on the matter. If we hear anything else, we will be sure to update this post.
What are your thoughts on the developer potentially one day tackling the Metroid series? Let us know in the comments below.
Nintendo все слухи на корню давит =)

Chasing Dead...
When a second Earth unexpectedly and inexplicably appears in our skies, a team of operatives, astronauts, and scientists are sent 955,600 miles across space by NASA and the US Military, however all contact is lost a few hours after their arrival on.

You take the role of a hardened and fearless ex-marine named Jake, whose main objective is to collect any pieces of research left behind by the missing expedition team. You will venture through snowy Russian tundra, traverse the hot deserts of Afghanistan and venture through the ruined cities of Ukraine as you fight off creatures that were created through mankind’s self-destruction. Use any weapon you can find from firearms to blunt instruments to battle the endless hordes of zombies and mutants that plague this alternate Earth. This brave new world is fraught with horrors as players try to survive lethal perils such as a crashing airline flight, an abandoned mine, a dilapidated hospital and a haunted house.

As you collect data modules and listen to logs left behind by the original team, you will steadily come upon the horrifying revelation that lead to this parallel Earth’s demise. But above all else, you must achieve the one thing that no one else on this hellish Earth has been able to do, survive.
